Sentient technologies have an important role to play in security and law enforcement efforts. Current projects include:

• GATES© will be delivered to the Los Angeles Police Department in the first quarter of 2010. GATES© will coordinate the anti-gang efforts of numerous local, state, and federal agencies, and will also provide strategic consulting services to public and private security forces located throughout Southern California.
• Bolivar© will be activated in 2003. Bolivar©, which will be based in Sao Paulo, will be utilized by the Mercosur authority to monitor regional trade flow and manage the collection and distribution of customs revenue.
• BURKE© will be delivered to INTERPOL in May of 2009. This third generation presence will provide management services for INTERPOL/FSS [Russian Federal Security Services] efforts to monitor money laundering and tariff evasion. BURKE© will be the first advanced sentient entity deployed in Poland.
• ATF will take delivery of a third generation sentient presence in the second quarter of 2011. This still unnamed entity will work closely with sentient resources associated with US Customs and INS to further secure the borders of the United States.
